Huntington Harbour in the northern portion of Huntington Beach encompasses five manmade islands bounded by a network of navigable channels and the land surrounding them. Its waterways are lined with beautiful multi-million dollar homes, boat docks, yachts and the popular Duffy boats. Huntington Harbour includes a few small beaches, many beautiful parks and public channels and waterways perfect for kayaking. Huntington Harbour includes several shopping centers, numerous restaurants, hotels, Peter's Landing Marina, Sunset Aquatic and Huntington Harbour launch ramps, plus schools, apartments, condominiums, homes and fabulous estates.

Huntington Harbour also connects with Anaheim Bay via a waterway that passes under a bridge on Pacific Coast Highway and includes several guest slips at Peter's Landing Marina for visitors seeking a spot to dock. You must pass Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station in the Anaheim Bay to enter Huntington Harbour, the closest mainland point to Catalina Island 22 miles away.

Bounded by the cities of Westminster, Seal Beach and Sunset Beach, Huntington Harbour includes a network of navigable channels that access the Pacific Ocean via Anaheim Bay. Five islands--Humboldt, Davenport, Gilbert, Trinidad and Admiralty, plus guard gated Coral Cay and Sunset Island in the County of Orange community of Sunset Beach include waterways and channels lined with multi-million dollar homes and estates, private docks and yachts. Shopping centers include Huntington Harbour Mall, Marina Village Mall and numerous smaller malls and shopping centers. Located in the Ocean View School District, schools include Harbour View Elementary School, Marine View Middle School and Marina High School. 

Peter's Landing Marina, at the Harbour entrance and just off Pacific Coast Highway, offers sport fishing, private charters and electric boat rentals. Located in Huntington Harbour across from Sunset Beach and 15 minutes to open water, Peter's Landing Marina includes Yacht and Sales Brokerage, a fuel dock and launch ramp nearby, Marine Chandlery BoatU.S./West Marine on-site, 2 hour Guest Docks from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily and 13 restaurants within walking distance. 325 Slips can accommodate vessels from 31' to 96' LOA. Admiralty
Admiralty Island - This development contains 90 single-family residences, nearly all with water frontage. Access is via Pacific Coast Highway at Admiralty Drive. 

Gilbert
Gilbert Island - Bounded by Admiralty Island to the west and the Main Channel to the east, it contains 100 home sites, two thirds of which are on-the-water locations. 

Davenport
Davenport Island - 227 home sites are evenly split between on-water and off-water locations.  The southernmost island is accessed by taking Davenport Drive which the southern border of Huntington Harbour Mall. 

Humboldt
Humboldt Island - Two-thirds of the 335 homes are on-water locations with views of Christiana Bay. Access the Island by taking Saybrook Lane to Humboldt Drive.

Trinidad
Trinidad Island - No figures provided for the number of home on what is considered the most luxurious of the islands. Drive west on Edinger Avenue and turn left on Trinidad Lane. 


For guests visiting Huntington Beach, Peter's Landing Marina near Anderson Street and Pacific Coast Highway and Huntington Harbour Marina next to Huntington Harbour Yacht Club on Warner Avenue near Pacific Coast Highway offer several two-hour guest slips available on a first-come, first-served basis for boaters. To access Huntington Harbour via boat or yacht, you must pass Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station and Anaheim Bay National Wildlife Refuge in the Anaheim Bay. Huntington Harbour is the closest mainland location to Catalina Island (only 24 nautical miles) and is located between the largest municipal pleasure cruise harbor in the United States in Long Beach to the north and Newport Beach to the south. 

Huntington Harbour Yacht Club is the largest yachting group in Huntington Harbour. The close-knit community of members maintain a beautiful clubhouse and enjoy events such as boating and fishing contests and excursions, educational trips for under-privileged children and social functions such as meetings, fund-raisers and dinners.

Huntington Beach, California - Construction began on the Huntington Harbour complex in 1963. Two islands, Admiralty and Gilbert, were included in the first phase of development. Today, Huntington Harbour contains five manmade islands offering a wide variety of home styles in both single family and condominium units. Every year, during the Christmas season, the Harbour residents present a 'Cruise of Lights' by dressing up their boats with lights and decorations for a parade through the Harbour.
