Huntington Beach
volleyball nets are constantly in
use at the beach with players
ranging from beginner to pro.
On most days you can dive into a
game with the rare exception of
tournaments booking the nets.
Several major tournaments are held
during the year but all in all, you
are left with over 300 days of
public, free play.
With 20 nets (19 located near the
Huntington Beach Pier alone!) ready
to take the heat in some beach
action, you should have little
difficulty in accessing one for your
game or group. Stretching along 3
beach entities, Huntington City
Beach, and two California state
beaches within the bounds of HB,
nets are located on Huntington City
Beach parallel to Pacific Coast
Highway at Main Street.
Public parking is available at Pier
Plaza City of Huntington Beach
parking lot. Fees are usually
$1.50/hour except during peak season
when a flat day rate is charged.
Volleyball competitions include Association of Volleyball
Professionals (AVP) Pro Beach
Volleyball Games and a Corona beer
sponsored event with prize money
held usually after Labor Day in
September.
