Huntington Beach, CA's SiX have been
forced to cancel all their upcoming tour
dates after drummer Nate Bowers was
arrested in Portland, OR last week while
back home visiting family. Bowers had
allegedly assaulted the singer of a
local emo band.
SiX recently released their new album
"Between The War and the Warning", which
features guest appearances by Mike Clark
from Suicidal Tendencies and bassist
Tony Campos from Static-X, through the
group's own 1605 Records.
Formed in 2001, SiX has been punishing the
hard rock scene on their own terms with a
fierce independent mindset that allows them
to record and tour on their own terms.
Comprised of members of alt-metal act Drown
and former touring members of Cypress Hill
and OPM, the group's previous release "The
Price of Faith" received strong reaction
from radio and prompted Amp Magazine to say
SiX the group "combine the modern day
crossover metal of Machine Head, Metallica,
and Fear Factory with classic influences
such as Sabbath, Priest, and Maiden." Since
then the group has done hundreds of shows,
touring the country and sharing stages with
Clutch, GWAR, Slipknot, Disturbed, Shadows
Fall, Stone Sour and countless others.
