Huntington Beach  Marketing and Visitors Bureau Kiosk

Huntington Beach Conference and Visitors Bureau is ready for summer visitors. A seasonal Visitor Center is open daily. Located at the entrance to the Huntington Beach Pier, the kiosk offers maps, information, directions, and visitors guide published by the Marketing & Visitors Bureau.

Once housed in atiki-themed trailer painted with a colorful mural when launched in June 2004, a pilot program proved successful and the kiosk trailer became a permanent structure dedicated in 2009.

Answering important questions such as, "Where's the bathroom'" the staff made a list and tabulated the questions asked.

A visitor survey was also performed by students in 2004 and used to glean information about who is visiting Huntington Beach, where they are coming from and more.  The information was added to another marketing study performed by a professional marketing company to identify Huntington Beach in the tourism pie Orange County is comprised of.

Who comes to Huntington Beach' People from around the globe visit Surf City, though the majority of visitors are Californians, themselves, comprising approx. 85% of visitors.

What ocean view dining is available' The most popular restaurant with ocean views is Dukes Huntington Beach. Views are also afforded at Fred's Mexican Cafe, Spark Woodfire, and beach sand views are available at Sandy's Beach Grill  below Duke's.

Where are the bathrooms' Bathrooms are free and available at the base of the pier on either side of the pier. The closest is next to Zack's beach concessions. On the pier there are public restrooms, as well. Downtown there are restrooms at 200 Main Street next to city parking garage.
