The 4th of July Parade
and Celebration is a colorful event filled with
old-fashioned fun. Balloons, clowns, floats, beauty
queens and an incredibly patriotic scene of red, white
and blue made this fun-filled day to remember a
delightful experience for kids young and old.
To highlight the
special event, there's a Vendor Expo
fashioned after the popular expos held during the US
Open of Surfing, the NPPL Paintball World Series
Competition, Senior Saturday, Duck-a-thon, and even the
weekly Farmer's Market events held at the very same
location on Pier Plaza each Friday.
In addition the
showcase which include SeaCliff Shopping Center, SoBe
soft drinks, a Real Estate office, chiropractic care,
food such as frozen lemonade and kettle corn, there was
a kiddie's fun zone in downtown Huntington Beach on Main
Street. Children enjoyed moon bounce rides, coloring
contests, clowns, poster signing and so much fun they
stuck around after the parade.
The fireworks show was
launched off the Huntington Beach Pier south of Ruby's
Surf City Diner. The 20+ minute show was staged
with solid firings of fireworks displays shot straight
overhead.
