September 2008
Californians know that
September is one of the warmest months and the beaches are
no exception to this rule. At the wetlands shown at
Huntington Beach (above), the sun sets a golden color as a
bird swoops toward the camera. The golden days of autumn
bring cooler nights with an ever so slight breeze.
Don't get out the heavy blankets just yet. Give it another
month or two.
For tourists without
kids, or locals, this is the best time to have a beach
bonfire and enjoy the hand-in-hand strolls along the water
line. This is the finest, prettiest time to visit Huntington
Beach, California, the gem of the South Coast. Located south
of Los Angeles in Orange County, you'll find the beach city
offers around 18 hotels, lots of outdoor restaurants and
Disneyland not far away.
What begins in the fair
month of September is one of our favorite events of the
year--Oktoberfest!
